Overview 

Broockmann Water Advisory (BWA) was engaged by Place Management NSW to provide comprehensive project and performance management services for the structural restoration of Pyrmont Bridge. As a landmark heritage asset in Sydney, the project required careful coordination, rigorous planning, and effective stakeholder engagement across all stages of delivery.

Scope of Engagement

BWA led and managed the project from early planning through to execution, taking responsibility for a range of functions including:

• Program and Project Management: Established a project governance framework, approval pathways, QA mechanisms, and managed stakeholder communications.
• Contract and Financial Management: Administered contracts, enforced terms, and managed project expenditure and cash flow to ensure cost control.
• Scheduling and Project Controls: Delivered critical path and lifecycle cost analysis, generated progress reports, and recommended corrective actions.
• Risk Management: Developed and maintained a comprehensive risk strategy, register, and mitigation plans.
• Procurement and Transaction Management: Managed procurement across multiple packages including tender evaluation, contractor negotiations, and award, and Principal-supplied material.
